Did he? I mean, I do like hearing from you. How are you holding up after everything?

I think I'm okay. The hospital's really impressed by how well I've been doing in physio! I guess it's because I was only out for a week and it was because of magic, not brain injury or something. But I'm not gonna be in a wheelchair for much longer, especially since Hakkai-san gave me some of his energy. I'm still not cleared for quests or missions, though, that kinda sucks.

But what about you? Are you doing okay? Did you heal all right?

I'm glad to hear that. I'm still resting. My powers aren't fully back yet. And honestly Esme won't let me out of bed or off the couch for long. I'm taking a leave from work until I'm back to tip top shape. So like a mandatory vacation.

Some new years party, huh? What a way to ring in the new year.

Yeah... I hope it didn't ruin concerts and parties for everyone. It'd be way too sad if we couldn't ever perform again.

I hope it didn't do that much damage. It couldn't have. People love music and they love parties. It'll be okay. They might be a bit tired for a bit because of it but just watch. This place will spring back.
